All of these houses have been built and have become peoples homes many times in many locations across the country. Information is provided through the viewing of the 3D models that I have provided for each of these houses that can help you decide if one of the designs fits your needs and desires. I have helped my clients in the thirty years that I have specialized in timber frame home design to build and live in homes that have functional and inspiring living spaces, have aesthetically pleasing styling, and are energy efficient. These design and pricing drawing sets are intended to provide you with a tool for you to obtain construction costs for the non-site related elements of your home design. By sending these drawings to builders, contractors, and suppliers to obtain estimates you can determine how much the construction of your home will cost. With pricing information available you can move forward with the the decisions that you need to make in that you will know what the different building components will cost and can make choices accordingly. If the home that you thought that you could build did not match up with your budgetary constraints then you will find out quickly with a minimum of time, effort, and money spent and go 'back to the drawing board' with newly learned information to apply.

Construction drawings are the final version of the drawings for your project that are used to build your home with and are similar to the design and pricing drawings but with the design decisions finalized and more information added. 3D modeling is used throughout the construction drawing set to help describe the project fully by providing perspective views of the different building elements. Those viewing the drawings can more easily gain an understand of the project as the elements that are depicted in the drawings are represented in photorealistic perspective views. Because the details of the drawings are more fully understood the projects tend to be more accurately built with less left up to interpretation in the field. These construction drawings allow everyone to move forward with their work efficiently and in a coordinated manner while adding their experience and creativity to your project .
Timber frame drawings are the drawings that are used to construct and assemble the timber frame structure of your house. They are sometimes called shop drawings. The timber frame company that you select will most likely draw their own shop drawings but if you are going to be cutting your own frame then you will need a set of timber frame shop drawings to define your work process and guide you as you manufacture and erect your own frame. The timber frame drawings that I provide show each component of your timber frame individually - post, beam, joist, rafter, brace - with 3D views and will all sides shown with all of the cuts laid out and dimensioned. These timber frame drawings will give you what you need to order wood and to efficiently cut your timber frame structure whether you are an experienced timber framer or a first timer.
